Season 68 review

   Season 68 Goals
4 goals for the season - 4 trophy races with 4 different captains in TF
   • Vejle-København – Nordin Pruischer (TF) – Target = Podium, Result = 2nd
   • B goal Volta ao Porto Sprinting Classification – Result = 1st
   • Mito-Tokyo – Herbert Tyre (TF) – Target = Podium, Result = 7th
   • Lappi Sea GP – Ralph Terhorst (TF) – Target = Win, Result = 3rd
   o B Goal – Grasse-Toulon – Target = Podium, Result = 4th

Overall Result 0/3 main goals achieved, however B goal (Volta ao Porto Sprinting Classification) was entered and Nordin Pruischer won 2 stages and with 2 further podiums secured the first jersey for AGB’s palmares.
Other notable results include Ralph Terhorst’s hill classics, with a 2nd in Bergen Rundtur, 3rd in Lappi Sea GP and a 4th in Grasse – Toulon, as well as 1st in Bruxelles – Liege WT race. Whilst not scoring any silverwear, a very good bounce back from the disappointments of last season.
Other Classic results include Nordin Pruischers 2nd place in Vejle-København in the lead up to the Volta ao Porto, and Herbert Tyre finishing 7th in Mito Tokyo and 3rd in Helskini GP Mini giving the team a total of 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 4th and 7th in 6 classics across divs one and two, great results but disappoint to have not converted any to a win. Herbert Tyre also finished second in his race for the national championship jersey, missing out by 15 points.
Overall a successful season due to the Volta ao Porto Sprinting Classification win, without which it would have been a season of so close but not good enough classic results. The team’s captains all performed well following last season.

Results summary (this season vs last season):
   S68: 18 results, 5 wins, Points: 2171, Rank: 49th
   S67: 10 results, 1 win, Points: 1926, Rank: 63rd
Lead rider – Ralph Terhorst OCM Tour Rank: 90th, OCM Tour Points: 660

Team value + cash: $2,095,866 (last year $2,176,214)
   Down $80,348 (-3.69%)
   Riders: 19 (last year 20)
   Staff: 16 (last year 16)

   Next Season Goals
4 goals for the season - 3 trophy races, 1 jersey
   • Vejle-København – Nordin Pruischer (TF) – Target = Win
   • Volta ao Porto Sprinting Classification – Target = Win
Desperately want to win Vejle-København, and after a 2nd place last year, is this our year? Will roll Nordin’s TF into the Volta ao Porto to try and win the green jersey for a second year in a row
   • Lappi Sea GP – Ralph Terhorst (TF) – Target = Win
Win goal – looking to make it 3 wins, age is getting against us. B Goal – Grasse-Toulon – Target – Ralph Terhorst (TF). Podium goal
   • Helsinki GP Mini – Herbert Tyre (TF) – Target = Podium
Podium goal - not many chances remaining for Herbert to get a big win due to age. Last year 3rd with no TF. Switched focus from Mito Tokyo to this race.
   • B Goal – Manual Jomail in Bergen Rundtur – no guarantee of qualification

Future of team. Really want to find an opportunity for Nevan Ryles to race the Scottish Heritage tour, although qualifying might be an issue due to needing lots of points at the back end of season when team leaders are TFing. Need new talents to train.
